Today, we have built on our past experience to develop new products that include optical receivers and house amplifiers. As the demand for broadband equipments has grown, Taikan has expanded accordingly to provide the necessary product lines. With immediate access to manufacturing and research facilities overseas, Taikan can provide our present and future customers faster development of products to market at competitive prices. Although we have grown dramatically, our commitment to our customers has not changed we have only given our customers more options and flexibility.

Founded in 1972, in an apartment complex in Lawrence, Kansas, Taikan began as a small family business to provide customized passive products, for the emerging CATV community. Our initial product line included small house splitters and directional taps that were manufactured and tested in-house. Since the beginning, Taikan has strived to customize our products and services to meet customer's needs. Subsequently, Taikan has provided hardware solutions to the cable television and broadband industry. Taikan has worked to develop the necessary equipments for today's broadband markets.
