Outdoor Taps & Mainline passives
Taikan’s 1 GHz, 1.218 GHz, and 1.8 GHz taps have been designed with the future of the CATV industry in mind. The 1 and 1.2 GHz bandwidth options support Standard Spectrum DOCSIS (FDD), while our 1.8 GHz bandwidth option supports Full Duplex DOCSIS (FDX) systems to offer additional usage and services.
In addition, all units come complete with a factory installed power passing bar for uninterrupted service when the faceplate is removed. This flexibility enables systems to upgrade their taps without the added expense of splicing the line. Some other options include widebody housing, reverse window operability, and line equalizers.
