CATV Non-Standby power supplies
Taikan's PSP/PSS Series Non-Standby Power Supply units provide conditioned power to signal amplifiers in CATV and broadband distribution systems. Our Pole Mount Power Supply has a durable anodized aluminum housing (powder coating available), while our Strand Mount Power Supply utilizes ADC 12 Aluminum Alloy material, both with a high quality ferroresonant transformer.
Taikan’s Non-Standby Power Supplies have an efficiency rating of 90% or better, and are consistently reliable in terms of trouble-free maintenance and operation. The PSP/PSS Series utilize the ferroresonant transformer technology to provide line conditioning and voltage regulation 
(output - quasi square wave form). The ferroresonant transformer design supplies the load with current-limited, regulated voltage free from spikes, surges, and other forms of power line transients.
CATV Pole mount power supply
- Used for CATV / Broadband Networks Requiring an Efficient, Non-standby Power Supply 
- Ferroresonant Design Provides Fully Regulated Output Voltage in a Quasi-Square Waveform 
- During a Short, the Ferroresonant Transformer Folds Back Limited @ 150% of the Output Rating, This Prevents the Transformer from Being Damaged 
- During An Overload, the Output Voltage Will Shut Down to Prevent the Transformer from Being Damaged 
- An Auto-Reset Function is Built-In for Instances When There is a Short or Overload 
- Built-In Delayed Circuit to Protect the Device from any Input Surges and Minimize the Potential Impact of a Power Failure 
- Built-In Surge Protection Circuit that Shunts High Voltage Spikes on the Output to the Ground 
- Housing Designed with AL 5052 Anodized Aluminum Material with Powder Coating (Available Option) for Durability and Corrosion Resistance
